A lot of ladies LOVE to "journal" in their Bibles. We think [for the ladies :) ] this is an excellent
practice for it helps to make the scriptures "stick"
-AND come alive as the 'journaling' is progressing.
Here are some links/resources/ideas for "Bible Journaling":
A) FIRST-You must BELIEVE what God says through His Holy word, the Bible: Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house.
B) NEXT-You MUST "REPENT" of [turn away from and STOP doing,,,] the sins you have committed Mark 6:12 And they went out, and preached that men should REPENT
C) NEXT-you MUST ASK Jesus to come "into your heart" and TRULY become YOUR SAVIOR A-N-D YOUR 'LORD' Acts 2:21 And it shall be, that whosoever shall call on [invoke for aid, appeal, call upon,,,] the name of the Lord shall be saved. Luke 6:46- And why do you call Me Lord, Lord, an DO NOT do what I say?
D) FINALLY-you must CONFESS, P-U-B-L-I-C-L-Y, what you have just done with the Lord and what He has done for you ! Matthew 10:32,33 Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.

Suggestions for Getting the Most From Your Personal
Bible Reading
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
(Psalm 119:105)
Jesus Christ gave us the formula of success for EVERY
Christian when He said, “If you know these things, happy are ye if you do them”
(John 13:17). When we
delight in His Word we will experience true happiness, which is the result of
knowing and doing the will of God- as He has revealed it in the Bible.
Below are suggested tips for getting the most out of your
time spent in the Word:
1. At a minimum, read your Bible DAILY. Daily Bible reading
is to your spiritual life what daily eating is to your physical life. There are
weak, lethargic, and unmotivated Christians walking around without purpose due
to a lack of regular, daily Bible reading. Just as the body needs a regular
feeding time to maintain its energy level, so the spiritual man must regularly
be fed the Word of God if it is to be strong and healthy. (Job 23:12)
2. Set a regular reading time. One of the more common
questions from Christians is “how much time should I devote to reading the
Bible each day?” It’s important to keep in mind that it’s better to be
consistent with 10 minutes than inconsistent with 20. If you mean business
with God and really want to grow, remember,
you will “reap what you sow”. You might start with 10 minutes, daily,
and “build” from there. If , through consistency, you DO NOT start finding the
Bible “coming alive” to you-”back up”, go to your prayer closet, and come back
out- “fighting” !
Soon you will find that the Holy Spirit will always be true
to His Word and the LIVING WORD of the LIVING GOD will start coming ALIVE to
YOU ! (Psalm 119:11)
3. Set a regular place. It might help your concentration to
eliminate distractions by developing a regular place that you go to when you do
your Bible study. It’s best to be in a sitting position and preferably at a
desk or table. Coming regularly to this “quiet place” helps establish the
devotional mood. The Holy Spirit will be waiting for you there ! (Isaiah 45:23)
4. Read with a pen / pencil / paper at hand. One of the
biggest pitfalls for Bible reading is letting your eyes run across the page,
reading but not comprehending. To avoid this, make sure that you read with an
attitude of expectancy. When you take a “pen and paper” into your Bible study
time, you prepare yourself to receive something from God. And where there’s a
demand, there will always be a supply! (Deuteronomy 8:3)
5. Read devotionally. The Bible is a living book written by
a loving God to His children and it is profitable to us. In it, we find basic
principles, guidance and inspiration on how to live. It is our responsibility
to prayerfully ask God for a message each and every time we sit down to read
it. And then, it is our responsibility to apply it. In doing this, we will have
great success. (James 1:22)

"Pressing In!"
For every believer, there is a destiny to achieve and a high call to answer.
>>>It is in this place of the “press” that you find ultimate fulfillment as a born again believer.
Nothing else is as exciting or fulfilling as becoming who God wants you to be!
Philippians 3:13,14 says "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
Below are four truths regarding the press of the race for the prize of the upward call:
A) Everyone is to run. At the end of this race, every one of us will stand before the Lord and give an account for how we ran—not how we did in comparison to others. When you run the race that God has set before you, achieve the goals that He has called you to, being who God called you to be, then you will win.
1 Corinthians 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
B) Discipline is a runner’s friend, not his enemy. To be able to run our race, we must train. What many Christians achieve is often the result of grace—it’s spontaneous and unplanned favor. However, to achieve anything great we must understand that self-discipline will bring supernatural results.
1 Corinthians 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
C) Living in the press provides divine energy and life. Running your race will keep you young at heart. Energy and enthusiasm (“ In -THEO-asm” /God in you !) will be your portion as you focus on constantly progressing towards the finish line that God has set before you.
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
D) Do not give up. Even if you have experienced major, heartbreaking setbacks, you have not reached the final finish line yet. Moses proved that true “training” occurred in the desert-not the palace. The quality of your life as a believer is realized in your ability to press towards the goal that is set before you. If you have a vision for what you are to do and a passion to do it, and if you discipline yourself in order to reach the finishing line, you will win!
Hebrews 12:1-3 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Whose Side Ya' On ?- Recent Ministry Video. If you are really PRESSING IN..>>>You WILL be on the "Right Side" !!
“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another…” (Hebrews 10:25)
This is the New Testament , BIBLE BASED pattern for some of the characteristics and functions that MUST be part of the local Church you have decided to “throw your weight behind” -and HELP TO BUILD !
1. AT LEAST ‘Sixty Fold’ biblically sound teaching and preaching. The church is not called to just give a popular opinion or fad doctrine, but is supposed to proclaim TRUTH as it is revealed in the Bible. A living, New Testament church encourages growth in every individual by faithfully teaching, preaching and demonstrating from ALL of God’s Word and using THAT as the standard of measurement for all things. A person will feel both confronted and comforted by the truth of the Word that comes forth from the pulpit in a New Testament church. (Isaiah. 51:16)
2. Discipleshipand Mentoring. The New Testament church is involved in the success of EVERY individual. As a visitor, you should receive the message that, “if you want to grow, we’ll help you.” In a New Testament church, you will also feel challenged and motivated to go to new levels in your Christian walk. Your past will not be an indicator of the possibility of your future when you are discipled and mentored in this kind of church. (Matt. 28:19)
3. Intense worship. In a world where passions and basic kindness have become “out of the norm” and perverted- and ‘simple’ priorities are extremely ‘out of whack‘ -INTENSE WORSHIP is the mark of a STRONG CHURCH. As believers CORPORATELY enter in to worship AND EVERYBODY BECOMES INVOLVED (OR ‘PULLED IN , , ,‘ !) there should be a tangible presence of the Lord as He is lifted up. (John 4:23)
4. Evangelism. The church was NEVER meant to be contained within its own four walls. The church was NEVER meant to be contained within its own four walls. The church was NEVER MEANT TO BE CONTAINED WITHIN ITS OWN FOUR WALLS
The Church should possess a vision for taking the message of Jesus Christ to the region that God has placed it in. In a New Testament church, there will be opportunities and outreaches to REACH the lost, REVIVE the church in the local area , and REFORM their community. (2 Tim. 4:5)
Radical. The "New" Normal - Radio Church Service that CHALLENGES to 'get out of the box". Nobody is being "normal" anymore..who even knows what the definition of normal is anymore, anyway ? Why not be THE REAL DEAL....according to Bible pattern ??
Bible Promises
1) God has loaded the scriptures with promises. Here is how you REALLY learn how to grab a hold of those promises. In the church to many are bound with fear, religion, etc. and ARE NOT living the overcoming, victorious Christian life that is PROMISED throughout the scriptures.
For example-when someone does not have a good job what will they often try and do? They will go out and increase the "size" of how many other places they have applied at. Then, if that does not seem to be working, the next thing a lot of people in that situation will do is try and increase the "size" of the schooling that they have obtained. Then, if that isn't working they will then go out and "increase" . . .
etc., etc.
The same principle applies for everything in life.
Not enough clients or customers? Increase the advertising budget. Not enough friends? Increase the number of people you meet. Not enough money in the bank? Go out and try and get MORE . . .
>>> Until you “meet” what is coming against you with something BIGGER than what is coming against you (trying to get the better of you, trying to defeat you, trying to tear you down, trying to destroy you, trying to discourage you, trying to get you to doubt, trying to….) then what is coming against you will ALWAYS be winning that particular “battle”.
Yes, we all know “God was with David”. That is an easy ‘cop out’ answer. What was it IN DAVID that CAUSED and “ALLOWED” God to “be with David”, in the first place, so that David could even have a CHANCE of defeating Goliath? EASY!
The scriptures are simply LOADED with promises. The very PROMISES of God. Get all "wrapped up in them” THEY won't let you go !

A Powerful Prayer Life
"How shall we escape, if we NEGLECT so great salvation…" -Hebrews 2:3
1) Don't NEGLECT what the Lord is calling us ALL to do, INDIVIDUALLY. When the Lord says to pray..He does not say "IF" you pray...He says "WHEN"-(Matthew 6:6) .
The Greek word for "neglect" here means "of little concern; to take lightly." We aren’t to pray as a last resort : going to our friends first, then to a pastor or counseling session, and finally ending up on our knees. NO ! – Jesus tells us-
"Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God, and his righteousness (praying ! ) and THEN all these things shall be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33).
The plain teaching of the Lord, the promises, the power and the fruit of a strong “intense and intimate” prayer life are not only overwhelming, but are a basic and elementary teaching of “What it FIRST means to be a Christian”.
2) So why do so many Christians neglect their intimate time with God? Below are some of the most common reasons:
A) Some Christians don’t pray because they don’t “see it as a priority” in other Christians lives. Each of us must give an account of ourselves before the Lord to receive our rewards for what we have done while in this body. Do YOU really want, on that day, to stand before the Lord and say “but Lord, so and so didn’t pray,,,”? Read on.
[ Rev 3:16 -1 Peter 5:8- Romans 12:1 and Matthew 6:10 ]
3) Finally, listening to the Lord Himself is always the best idea :)
Luke 21:36 says "Watch ye therefore and pray ALWAYS, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man."
